Ceremony and Reception

On Sunday 27th, all transport from Yalikavak town to the Mandarin Oriental for the reception, ceremony, meal and entertainment will be supplied.
Transport will leave from the BOHO Hotel at 5pm.

Yalikavak is a coastal town on Turkey’s Bodrum Peninsula, on the Aegean Sea.
Rich in history and steeped in tradition, it’s renowned for its marina and beaches, including Yalıkavak Beach, just off Plaj Caddesi (Beach Road - where the BOHO Hotel and both previously listed accommodations are situated) in the centre of town. On the nearby Küdür Peninsula are the Panormus rock caves, offering views of the coastline. The hills outside Yalıkavak shelter a group of old stone windmills and the abandoned village of Sandıma with its stone houses.
FLIGHTS:
You can fly direct to Milas-Bodrum airport (BJV) from most major European airports. (From London Stanstead or Gatwick, Bodrum is a 3hr direct flight). Yalikavak is 50km/50 min taxi away. Send us your flight details on the RSVP form as soon as you have booked and we'll arrange for transport to meet you at the airport. (Alternatively, should you wish to hire a car for the duration of your trip, please let us know and we can help arrange that for you with a company in Yalikavak town).
If landing in Istanbul and spending a few days there first, Milas-Bodrum airport is a 1hr 20 min flight from either ISTANBUL ATATURK (IST) & ISTANBUL SABIHA GOKCEN (SAW). These 2 airports total over 20 direct flights a day to Bodrum.
*IMPORTANT: If connecting in ISTANBUL, be sure to double check your flight leaves from the same airport. Otherwise, ensure you leave enough transfer time as IST and SAW are opposite sides of Istanbul.
DURATION OF YOUR STAY:

COMING FOR A LONG WEEKEND? As the ceremony is on the Sunday, we suggest you arrive Friday evening and depart Monday evening (or even Tuesday morning). Again, send us your flight details on the RSVP form as soon as you have booked and we'll arrange for transport to/from airport.
We'll both be in Yalikavak from Tues 22nd - Wed 30th so feel free to arrive early that week or stay later to hang out and visit the sights.
